Jeong Yun-kyung: Dash and Symphony

Dash and Symphony is the first solo exhibition of The London based Korean artist Jeong Yun-Kyung in Hong Kong, which combines East Asian ink and wash traditions and contemporary abstract art expression techniques, and her works combine meticulous ink and wash scenes and abstract expressionist dynamic brushwork. Her works are full of strong contrasts, unrestrained colors are presented on the unprocessed canvas, and the artist's lavish brushstrokes make the viewer's eyes more selective from the repetitive geometric structures of tranquility.
