Zhu Jinshi: Li Bai's Snow

Li Bai’s Snow is the solo exhibition by the Chinese artist Zhu Jinshi, which exhibits 25 iconic heavily layered and textured oil paintings created by the artist from 2012 to 2020, as well as a series of special small works which were specially created for this Hong Kong exhibition.

The title of the exhibition is taken from the essence of Chinese poet Li Bai's poems. The artist's paintings break the boundaries between abstract media, allowing people to interpret and understand abstract art in many ways. The viewer is invited to watch the artist’s "thick paintings" in various proportions, just like all of Zhu's works, people can connect them with the artist's inherent interests to create meaning from the materials.
